One very late night, she came home with a note in her necklace. The family unfolded the note and looked curiously at what was written on it, in ink:
Here is what was written on the note, according to what the owner himself states on the online forum Reddit:
“I don’t know who owns this cat, but she comes to visit us every week. She usually howls at our back door until we let her in, walks around our legs, walks around the house like it’s her home, stands and waits by the fridge until my husband or I give her food. She doesn’t like a certain type of cat food that much! We look forward to her little visit. We lost our own 21 year old cat this year.
So beautifully written, the neighbors were not at all angry with their cat Nala. It turns out they had a cat of their own who had recently passed away after 21 years, and the neighbors explained that Nala was welcome in their home anytime she wanted. They had also drawn a little kitten at the bottom of the letter.
What lovely neighbors! Feel free to share if you are a real cat person too.
