Cameron Martin, 13, became a hero after jumping into a frozen canal to save a horse from death. The heroic little man spent over an hour in the canal trying to hold the horse’s head up until help arrived. In the end, the horse was saved thanks to this “LITTLE HERO”.
Cameron, from Lowestoft in the north of England, was at Midspirit Equestrian Farm in Burgh Castle when he discovered that the horse named Domino was having trouble getting out of the canal.
The boy said: I was walking to my field to see my pony when I noticed that one of the owner’s horses was not in its usual place. I pa.ni.cked, and then my first thought was to check the dike. I saw him in the water trying to force himself under. I just did what I had to do.
